Who Are We?
Women’s Resources of Kawartha Lakes, is a not for profit, charitable organization created and run by local women. For more than 20 years, Women's Resources has been providing programs throughout the City of Kawartha Lakes to ensure that abused women and their children can lead lives free of abuse and violence.
The services provided by Women’s Resources are confidential.
"I wanted to thank the entire organization for the help I have received over the past two & a half years... I don't think I would be the same person I am today if it wasn't for Women's Resources. What this organization does for the community and its clients is truly amazing"

Become a volunteer!
Volunteers are the cornerstone of Women’s Resources and support us in many ways. Some of the ways in which volunteers help include: customer service and processing donations at Vicky’s Values gently used clothing store, driving women to counselling, court, legal and medical appointments, shopping and gardening at the shelter, providing child care, administrative support in program areas and participating in event planning.
