Women’s Resources is dedicated to the promotion of safety and equality for all women and provides shelter, counselling and referrals to women and their children who have experienced abuse.
Women’s Resources is committed to hiring qualified and skilled staff. Because of the nature of the work we do, Women’s Resources does have an exemption under the Human Resources Act and we do not employ men for any counselling or administrative positions. Our hiring practices are governed by our feminist philosophy and commitment to anti-racism and anti-oppression principles.
All job postings are posted internally first and then, if no suitable candidates are found, positions are then advertised externally. Any positions posted on this web-site are available for external candidates.
Opportunities for becoming involved in Women's Resources are many, either as a board member, volunteer, student placement or staff member.
